Fjör takes its name from the Old Norse word for life and vitality. We started the clinic on a simple observation: infusion therapy doesn't need a hospital, but it does need hospital standards of care.
Every infusion at Fjör runs on the same clinical foundations you'd find in a hospital infusion unit: prescriber-directed medication authorisations, identity and medication verification before every administration, nursing observation throughout, and documented records shared back with your referring doctor.
What we've removed is everything else: the waiting rooms, the queues, the feeling of being processed. Infusions take time, and we think that time should be calm.
Fjör is led by Pia Fraser, an AHPRA-registered nurse with experience delivering infusion therapy in hospital settings. Pia leads every aspect of clinical care at Fjör, from your first assessment through to your aftercare.
As a nurse-led clinic, Fjör works in close partnership with referring GPs and specialists: your doctor directs your treatment, and our nursing team delivers it with the time and attention it deserves.
