Doctor-prescribed vitamin and nutrient infusions, administered by an experienced registered nurse at our private clinic in the Geelong CBD.
If your GP or specialist has prescribed a vitamin or nutrient infusion, Fjör provides the clinical setting and nursing expertise to administer it. B group vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin D, magnesium and other nutrients can all be given this way when a doctor decides an infusion is appropriate for you.
Because these are prescription medicines in injectable form, the pathway works the same as an iron infusion. Your doctor writes the prescription, your pharmacy dispenses it, and you bring it with you. Your nurse verifies your identity, your prescription and the medication itself before the infusion begins, monitors you throughout, and sends a summary to your referring doctor.
We do not select or match infusions to patients. What you receive is always your doctor's decision; our role is to administer it safely and comfortably.

Vitamins given intravenously are prescription medicines in Australia, even when the same vitamin is available over the counter as a tablet. Your doctor confirms an infusion is appropriate, chooses the product and dose, and writes the script. We administer it as prescribed.
No, and it's an important part of how we work. Doctors prescribe; nurses administer. If you think a vitamin infusion might help you, start with your GP. If your doctor prescribes one, we take care of the rest.
Your pharmacy dispenses it with your prescription. Some prescribed infusions are prepared by a compounding pharmacy, which your doctor or our team can point you to. Bring it to your appointment in its original packaging with the dispensing label intact. Your doctor can download our authorisation form from the referrers page.
Our introductory administration fees start at $219, depending on what is prescribed and how long the infusion runs. We confirm your exact fee when we book you in. The medication itself is dispensed and charged separately by your pharmacy.
